This week we start framing the basement. Since I never framed anything but a painting I did search  the web for framing, framing pre-hung doors, framing and tiling bathrooms. Here are some nice clear videos on howto framing a basement. I love Bob Schmidt.

Since we had a power outage in our area (big thunderstorms), i finished painting (moss green) the stairwell and hallway and put up some new roman shades. And Cat made some photos from the yard and garden.

I also updated the ToDo list.

Last Friday I went to West Elm to pickup the Narrow Leg 6 drawer dresser and two matching end tables (both in acorn). To save $125 on shipping and handeling I thought I could pick them up myself… not knowing the dresser and end tables would come fully assembled in boxes it did not fit [...]
